The Toronto Ovarian Cancer Research Network is proud to announce that the 5^th Canadian Conference on Ovarian Cancer Research will be held on May 15-18, 2010 at the Delta Chelsea Inn in downtown Toronto. The theme of the conference is “Journey to Discovery, Prevention and Cure”. Enthusiastic endorsement and participation by The Society of Gynecologic Oncologists of Canada (GOC) and Ovarian Cancer Canada (OCC) are pivotal to the Conference. This meeting provides a unique forum to bring together basic, translational and clinical ovarian cancer researchers to allow integration and synergy of their efforts to understand and combat this disease.

The four main symposia, each of which will feature at least one international keynote speaker as well as established and emerging Canadian researchers, are:

• Genomics and Proteomics in the discovery of novel biomarkers and therapies
• Etiology and Prevention – Cells of origin and stem cells – Susceptibility and risk factors
• Models of ovarian cancer for mechanistic and therapeutic studies
• Targeted therapies and current and emerging clinical trials

We will also have 3 poster sessions and several workshops on specific aspects of ovarian cancer, including survivorship (which will be open to survivors).

On the day preceding the main conference will be a workshop for research trainees.

We expect approximately 200 participants from across Canada at the Conference.

We are currently seeking sponsorship for this important and unique meeting. All sponsorship contributions will be acknowledged appropriately. We invite unrestricted grants and also offer various levels of sponsorship as indicated below.
